Our Program

I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment that offers children daily positive interactions to support the unique strengths of each. Children are taught life skills, such as: learning how to share, taking turns, following directions, and problem solving. My program provides children unconditional love, emotional security, a sense of routine, and an opportunity to be creative and playful.

Our Goals are: 

• Care that is based on each child’s age, abilities, and interests; 
• Consistent and age-appropriate routines;  
• Activities that meet the developmental and educational needs of each child including those with disabilities and special health care needs; 
• Developmental and age-appropriate play;

• Safety and health of children while attending our program.

I am a licensed daycare provider, who complies with all applicable Maryland State Department of Education’s regulations and standards. These standards relate to my home, health, safety procedures, nutrition, and business practices. 

I hold the  following certifications:

• CPR Certified, 
• First Aid Certified, 
• SIDS and Other Sleep-Related Infant Death Certified, 
• Certified in Emergency and Disaster Preparedness for Child Care Providers,
• Infant & Toddler Development and Curriculum Planning (45 hrs),
• Maryland State Department of Education Covid-19 Training, and
• Maryland Excel.
• Credential level 3

I will observe the development of your child on a regular basis. Within the first 60 days of your child attending the program (those less than 5 years old), I will complete an assessment using the ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire). You will be asked to also complete a copy of the ASQ. Once I receive your copy, we can compare outcomes and identify any possible development delays to be addressed.  In addition, I will perform ongoing observations of your child using developmental checklists. All results of assessments and observations, work samples, and anecdotal records will remain in confidential records. This information will be used to create a customized Development Support Plan for your child and will only be shared during parent conferences.   

Blessing Home Daycare accepts Child Care Subsidy and will work with eligible parents for financial assistance and i also run a Pre.K program
